Undergraduate Research Assistant

I'm more likely to hire you as a research assistant after you have taken the following courses:

• ECON 101 - Principles of Economics
• ECON 251 - Intermediate Microeconomics
• ECON 253 - Fundamentals of Econometrics

Additionally, basic knowledge in either Stata, R or Python coding is required.

Recommendations

I typically write letters of recommendation for students in support of their application for internships, jobs, academic programs, and graduate school. A letter will usually answer these 3 questions about the student:

1. How well do I know the student? In what capacity?
2. How does this student compare to their peer group?
3. Why is this student a good fit for the particular internship/job/academic program?
