Applied Microeconomist, Data Scientist
I am a faculty member in the Economics Department at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania. I also hold the position of data science fellow affiliate at Mountain Data Group. My research interests lie in applied microeconomics, particularly at the intersection of health, labor, demographics, and aging. As an applied microeconomist, I answer policy-relevant questions using modern tools of causal inference techniques from applied statistics and econometrics. I teach intermediate microeonomics, development economics, and health economics at Lafayette College.
I completed my Ph.D. and M.A. in Economics from Colorado State University and earned my B.A. in Mathematical Economics from Colorado College. I also graduated from the United World College of South East Asia, an independent international school in Singapore, and is a member of the United World College movement which includes 18 schools worldwide.

Outside the office, you’ll often find me watching English Premier League matches—especially Liverpool, since I’m a devoted fan—and looking for pick-up soccer games to join. I also enjoy playing piano and guitar whenever I can. When I’m not doing that, I love going on hikes or long walks with my partner, Alexandra (who also works at Lafayette College), and our tiny puppy, Ziggy (though we often call him Monkey—he’ll always be our little pup). Whenever possible, I bring him along to my office, too.
